HI, I’m GRAHAM
I’M THE AUTISTIC THERAPIST
WHAT DO I DO?
I mostly work with children, couples, families and individuals to make positive changes in their lives. I enjoy working with autistic and neurodivergent clients and am passionate about teaching others to do the same.
I have a background in Children’s Social Care and am experienced in using hypnosis, Solution-focused Therapy and Life Coaching to work with marginalised communities.
Additionally, I write books and provide trainings on all aspects of unconventional therapy for exceptional people.
Background
With a background in pastoral counselling and a long career in family support and mental health, I have devoted my life to developing a compassionate, caring and contemporary approach to helping people live their lives to the fullest.
Hypnosis
I originally trained with a Stage Hypnotist, where I acquired the ability to hypnotise people in a matter a minutes and even seconds. This gave me practical experience of seeing people’s life-long problems sometimes overcome rapidly and permanently.
Moving On
Solution-Focused
I soon discovered that the worlds of therapeutic hypnosis and Solution-focused therapy had a common root. I have since worked to incorporate hypnosis and solution-focused thinking into all of the work I do with individuals, couples and families.
Acceptance
For over 30 years, I have been teaching the benefits of mindfulness and meditation. When I discovered self-compassion and the power of Acceptance I beliveved I had found the missing pieces I had been looking for. But there was still one surprise to come.
Recognition-Based Change
It was whilst teacing a group of people in Sweden about self-compassion, acceptance and solution-focused skills, that I stumble upon what I now called Recognition-Based Change. So far, I am delighted with how well this idea has been received by neurodivergent people and excited to see what the future holds..
